Edie is a Scout from Rolleston on Dove, Staffordshire, heading to the World Scout Jamboree near Gdańsk, Poland in 2027. To mark the adventure, she's set herself a challenge: walk, run, or hike the same total distance as the journey from her front door to the Jamboree site — 995 miles.

About the challenge
The World Scout Jamboree is held every four years and brings together Scouts from across the globe. In 2027 it's heading to Poland, just outside Gdańsk — and Edie has been selected to represent her troop.
To celebrate and fundraise for the trip, Edie is walking, running, and hiking the equivalent distance from home to the Jamboree site: 995 miles. She's tracking every walk and run, building up the miles one adventure at a time.
